Students -- Your Mid-terms begin next week:

Monday, November 11th -- Veteran's Day -- No School

Tuesday, November 12th -- Art History -- Day One
Wednesday, November 13th -- Art History -- Day Two

Note:  Credit is given working with the Kitchen and/or working with RMA.

Attention--Especially Period 6 and 8

We have been studying art history movements and the analysis of art.  Thus, our Midterm days will act like Presentation Days.  See Below

Project:  A cube that is a learning tool for target age group 8 to 12 year olds whom have an affluent background.  The theme of this cube is an Art Movement.  It must have knowledgeable information both on the outside as well as inside.

Read must have list:

-3D Cube on hard stock white paper
-art movement sequentially illustrated
-color and design of the 6 examples of that art movement
-inside movable parts (game) of that art movement
- textual information of each art movement


-- Presentation Mock Up ( Ask for notes in class)

Sketch of Work due on Wednesday, November 6th -- paper and supplies will be distributed for work at home

Rubric includes up to 20 points for each highly effective benchmarked list

Regarding Journals

Students -- You must keep up with Journal Entries.  You must write a reflection of class everyday.  That is, what did you learn-- what goals were accomplished--what did you do to contribute to class?

Please be sure to date each entry (there may be more than one entry on some days).
